Two forms on this site collect personal data, and only when you choose to submit them — the partnership enquiry and the subscription enquiry. They store your name, email address, organisation, your message, the kind of request, and the page you came from. The pilot intake additionally records the languages you selected. We keep the submitting IP address with the enquiry, used to rate-limit abuse.
We use this to reply to you and to run the engagement you asked about. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing to an address that only ever enquired.
We record coarse page analytics: the event type, which product, the path, the referring page, and a broad region. Those rows carry no IP address and no identifier — they cannot be traced back to a person, or joined to an enquiry.
One cookie, and only once you sign in: a session cookie that keeps you logged in across the platform. It is functional, not advertising. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracker on this site. The only external resource a page loads is the web font from Google Fonts.
People who record their language for us do so through amina.ai under a separate, versioned consent, and are paid for their work. Speaker identities are de-identified before any audio or metadata reaches a licensee: no names, no speaker identifiers and no storage paths are exposed through the APIs, which serve audio via an opaque proxy. A licensee's handling of that data is governed by the Data Processing Agreement described in the Terms.
To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email sales@bantunomics.com and say so plainly. If you are a contributor, the same applies to your recordings and your consent record.
This notice describes what the website does today and is kept in step with it. The commercial data-protection instrument (the DPA) is being finalised with counsel — see Terms.
